Today I have a super quick post and review on the Kmc cuti-balm! These are available in two styles of packaging. A nice 10ml jar/pot for $7 usd, and a 5ml stick variety for $5 usd. Let me just say the cuti-balm stick is now safely tucked away in my nail bag in my purse. Do any of you carry a nail bag? 

It comes in so handy! This balm is a bit on the waxy side at first, but it melts in and keeps my cuticles nice and moisturized. It also comes in three scents, Cotton Candy, Cucumber Mint or Sweet Honeysuckle.

My cuticles are a pain to be honest. I get the occasional split on my eponychium, tiny hang nails etc. and I have to be able to keep that under control or else.... I'll pick them! Ahh nooo! These are great for those moments when I can rub some on instead instead of pick away. If you love cuticle care products and balms you might want to try these. I love them and here are my before, during, and after cuti-balm use pictures! Yup, naked and totally unedited. *gasp*

*Before* not as horrible as they have been in the past. But definitely not perfect. Dry little bits, sigh. 

*During* I like to slather a bit on and wait a few minutes, then I rub it all in. I use this on both my naked and manicured nails. 

*After* Ahhh, much better. Not too oily or greasy, just right. This also makes a great overnight balm.

Today is part one of two on some awesome products from Menda Beauty. 

Menda Beauty stocks all sorts of acetone, remover, alcohol bottles, acrylic dishes, metal pumps in many styles and even some that lock for travel. They also sell acetone safe plastic bottles that come in pink and purple, I think I need those in my life. I mean who doesn't want cuter bottles for their remover.

Let me show you the two glass bottles I have the pleasure of trying. Each has a different pump so I'll get into that also. You can pick and choose which pump and bottle for pretty much all of their options, so you get what you want. 

First up, this 6oz floral glass bottle with Mendas one touch dispenser pump. $17.03usd

Both bottles are nicely printed and the glass has some weight too it but it's not overly heavy. 

The Menda one touch pump is awesome! It has a flip top lid and It needs the slightest press to disperse acetone through small holes at the bottom of the well. The acetone will stay in the well of the pump as well, but I'd recommend the pure touch pump for the acetone you use to clean up and I'll talk more about why later. 

The one touch needs about two or three pumps to wet a cotton ball enough for total removal of a nail, I definitely feel like I'm saving remover because my cotton doesn't become overly wet. 

Next is the 6oz Damask glass acetone bottle with the Menda pure touch pump!

As you can see the Pure touch pump has a sort of mushroom spout inside the well this allows the acetone to come down from under the button which is perfect for clean up.... Think random glitter falling off of your brush as you dip in to continue cleaning, it will remain in the well because it has no place to go since there are no holes in the bottom of the well! No more creepers falling back into the pump or acetone bottle. 

This also needs a gentle touch to disperse the acetone. I can't stress enough how much I love that. I've had times where I've tried to get acetone or remover to gently flow into the well only to have it splash me in the eye. Twice. Not fun!!! I'm graceful what can I say. 

One last little beat thing about Menda bottles is that they come with these awesome labels! The only negetive thing is you can't see a fill line since the glass is opaque, but I can easily over look that since they function well and look pretty sitting on my mani desk.

Today I have a super short and sweet nautical/4th of July mani to share with you! I used two types of vinyls from Vibrant vinyls  which are becoming my favorites, and here is what I came up with. 

Using vibrant vinyl straight vinyls I added stripes in red (zoya America) and a dark navy (zoya Ryan) over my white base for all but my accent. For my accent I used straight vinyls and added red stripes only saving enough room in the middle to place a vibrant vinyl anchor decal. Ta-da so simple! I love simple... like really love it. Vibrant vinyls are easy to use, the decal styles lay flat to the nail and are easily top coated. The vinyls stick to the nail well and arent overly sticky or hard to maneuver.

I am in love with my mani. I only wished I had used a lighter blue instead of the navy. Maybe I'll have to come back and revisit this one. I hope you're having a good day or night. Today I'm bringing you two manicures I did using the Formula X Infinite Ombre kit that I received compliments of Preen.Me as a part of their PreenmeVip program. 

I hope you enjoy them! Onto the manicures! 

Up first is my watermarble. I used the Platinum base coat and watermarbled "Boundless Berry" "Infinite Indigo" "Timeless Teal" and "Limitless Lemon". These marbled really nicely if you ask me. 

Second I chose a plain black base. Once that was dry I used a dotting tool to add simple five petal flowers and some random polka dots using the Platinum base. Again I let all of that dry and then I used the four infinite ombre colors in a sponged rainbow vertical gradient fashion over the silver art. I really love this one. 

I'm also excited to see from others that the silver base color stamps beautifully! 

I really think the possibilities for these are endless, and truth be told these can be achieved with any silver polish and some jellies, but these are really nice and blend amazingly.  Let me know what you think of these or what you might do with them!

 Today I have a mermaid scale mani to share with you all. I received some sample vinyls from What's Up Nails to review. I got to choose some vinyls and one set I chose were the scales! I usually turn to stamping for my mermaid-y type manicures so I thought vinyls would be nice to try also.

 For this mani I started off with a base of FingerPaints Patent Black. And for my scale colors I chose three polishes from the China Glaze Crinkled Chromes. Though they're sort of similar and it really looks like two shades I promise there's three. "Crush, crush baby" "Don't be foiled" and "Aluminate"

What's up nails vinyls were super easy to use for me. I didn't have to weed (remove the inner pieces) at all with this sheet. I've heard others haven't been as lucky, but I'm wondering if it's just hit or miss. I am very  pleased with how crisp my lines stayed even though I used a weird textured polish. 

I remember when this line came out and it was either love them or hate them. I have to say for this mani I love them. I picked my set up at my local Ross and I'm super happy that I did! What do you think? Would you wear this mani? I promise I won't be hurt if you wouldn't. I know  texture isn't everyone's cup of tea but let me know down below!
