Hey lovelies! Today I'm sharing my swatches of something new from FingerPaints! In the past I've done a review on the original fp soak off gels and I'm here today with some awesome One step gels!

FingerPaints One Step Gel
Soak off gel manicures are already great since you cure and go and nothing can dent or ding your manicure. One step soak off gels are all that plus the fact that you save even more time because you don't need a base or top coat!

FingerPaints sent me 5 to try out, let's see them!

All of my swatches are two coats of color cured for 30 seconds per coat. Once cured that's it! They are completely cured and do not have a tacky layer. Easy peasy! These have a slightly shorter wear time than the original fp gels. So if you like a semi long wear these are for you!

You can find these and other FingerPaints polishes at Sallybeauty.com and Sally beauty stores nationwide. The 1 step gels retail for $10.49 or $9.99 with your Sallys beauty club card.

You can follow along for more info and swatches from FingerPaints on their social media

That's all for this post. I hope you enjoyed it!

Thanks for hanging out with me! Until next time!

  1. how long would you say these last. I'm thinking of adding this to my salon but do you think I need to charge less as the wear isn't as good as the 3 step gels?

  3. Just bought this for use at home. What is "cure"....does that mean I need a light? If so, that's not really 1 step....

    1. Yes you will a light. These are soak off gel polishes. They classify them as 1 step because you don't need, base or top coat.

  4. I'm a nail tech and I love this line from fingerpaints! They hold up better than other gel polishes when used with base and top gel! I tried using it one step style and it wouldn't soak off at all, so I use base and rough up the top before soaking.

  5. I bought these after reading the reviews. Not impressed with them. They chipped on my fingers in less then 2 days. Plus i was able to take off the polish by peeling it off fairly easy.......a waste of money

    1. Body chemistry plays a huge role in nail polish wear of any sort. I’m sorry these didn’t work for you.

  6. Wondering what type of light you used? I’m having trouble finding curing times for these?

    1. I used a MelodySusie 12 watt LED lamp and cured for 1 minute per coat.
