What's Up Nails Holographic Powder!

10:15 PM

Hi lovelies! I'm back with another awesome product from What's Up Nails! I'm my last post featuring WUN I used the mermaid flakies, if you'd like to see that post you can find it here. Today I'll be showing you the nailart look I did using their Holographic powder. I don't know how I've lived so long without it in my life. Seriously.

This little jar of powder might not look like much now, but don't let it fool you!
I started with 2 coats of Madam Glam soak off gel in Perfect Black. I applied a liquid latex barrier to help with the clean up. Then one nail at a time I applied a coat of Madam Glam no wipe top coat. As soon as my nail was cured I applied the powder. I, like most applied mine with a foam eye shadow applicator which works great. I also then scrubbed it in a little more with my Purjoi silicone nail tool. I'll include a photo I took from my phone showing it later on. After removing the latex and excess powder from my fingers I applied one more coat of MG no wipe top coat and cured for 30 seconds.

Here's what my finished manicure looked like.

I moved my lights back a bit for a better idea of the holo I was seeing with my eyes.

I literally can't even. Hello holo!! A little of this goes a long way my friends! And I can't wait to use it some more. I wore this Mani for a bit and decided I wanted to stamp over it.
But first here's the insta pic showing the Purjoi silicone tool I used!

For easier clean up I slapped on some Purjoi Liquid Nail Tape (one of my favorites because it dries to a green apple scent)! Here's a before the peel action:

Excellent aid if you ask me! Hardly any clean up left for me to do.

Loving the final look, using UberChic Beauty Texture-Licious 02 mini plate for the splatter image.
